2013 Sigma Xi Young Investigator Award
The UC Chapter of Sigma Xi is pleased to accept nominations for the 2013 Sigma Xi Young Investigator Award. This annual award, presented in conjunction with the Office of the Vice President for Research, recognizes a junior faculty member at UC for their early career distinguished research accomplishments in a field of science or engineering appropriate to Sigma Xi. This award is made possible by the Violet M. Diller Endowment to the UC Chapter of Sigma Xi and the Office of the Vice President for Research.

2012-2013 UC Sigma Xi Outstanding Science/Mathematics
High School Teacher Award for Greater Cincinnati
The UC Chapter of Sigma Xi is pleased to accept nominations for the UC Sigma Xi High School Teacher of the Year Award. This annual award ($300) to an outstanding area teacher recognizes and honors excellence in high school mathematics and science (biology, chemistry, physics, ethics in science etc.) teaching and the mentoring of high school students (Grades 9 – 12) to pursue advanced education in science majors. This award is made possible by the Violet M. Diller Endowment to the UC Chapter of Sigma Xi.

2013 UC Sigma Xi Student Grants-in-aid-of-Research (UC Sigma XI GIAR)
The UC Sigma Xi chapter is pleased to accept applications from full-time matriculated undergraduate and graduate students for Grants-in-Aid of Research awards in allareas of science and engineering. Three $3,000 awards will be made. Students mayuse the funds for travel expenses to and from a research site, to present research results at a national science or engineering meeting, or for purchase of consumable research materials and supplies or non-standard laboratory equipment necessary to complete a specific research project. Funds may not be used for stipends or salary. These grant awards are made possible by the Violet M. Diller Endowment to the UC Chapter of Sigma Xi and the Office of the Vice President for Research.
