Signature Programs
Office of Research signature programs aim to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion in research@UC and elevate our national prominence through the cultivation & growth of both foundational and emergent research and amplification of our top talent’s most disruptive ideas, applied solutions and the real-world impacts. Programs include DEI in Research@UC that aims to enhance research impact and outcomes; elevate collective awareness and efforts to pursue DEI-related funding opportunities; increase awareness, communication, & training (ACT); and support and develop diverse talent in our research enterprise. We intentionally engage faculty and students in key memberships such as the Alliane for Arts in Research Universities (A2RU) and the National Humanities Alliance (NHA), and the BioDesign Challenge (BDC). A major UC Office of Research-led program is UC Research & Innovation Week - an annual, week-long celebration of disruptive ideas, applied solutions and the real-world impacts UC research, scholarship, and creative activities have on Cincinnati, the region, and beyond.
